Welcome in Torre dell’Orso

Torre dell’Orso is one of the most popular marinas in Salento in the last 10 years by tourists. Breathtaking landscapes, crystal clear sea, high coasts and a very fine beach. The amphitheater on the sea, a pasticciotto from Dentoni, and lots and lots of sun. What’s more beautiful than a dip from the most famous rocks of Salento, the Two Sisters, or a sandal ride around these beautiful stacks. The bay from above teeming with people between the sea and umbrellas, images of the Salento summer, which remain impressed. This is Torre dell’Orso, we welcome you …. Giuseppe and Luana.

The Bay

An enchanting landscape opens up to the eyes of visitors who, year after year, have come back to relive the best moments of summer right here, in the Bay of Torre dell’Orso, in Salento. Perhaps one of the most beautiful places ever, with a crystal-colored sea and very fine sand. Around a pine forest to look for a little cool after so much sun, and then go back to dive into a sea to drink.

The two Sister

Perhaps the most famous Faraglioni of Salento. The legend tells of two girls who, looking for a little refreshment, went to the cliff, where a sea breeze kidnapped one of the two girls, intoxicating her to the point of jumping into the void. Seeing this, the second girl, in a desperate rescue attempt, threw herself into the sea, but she too was sucked into the waves, finding her death.

The Tower

All the coasts of Salento are full of towers used as sentinels of the sea. The Watchtower, dating back to the 16th century, for the sighting of enemy ships is the emblem of the seaside town, with a breathtaking landscape and a sea so clear that it merges with the sky. It dominates the bay, an ideal place for photographic shots of rare beauty to remember over time.
